I should say I liked both, how normal was the protagonist and how he had developed over time as well as well-executed strings theory.
MC is likeable, slightly pervy, but not annoying type and actually appreciative by the females. Most importantly, even though you get the feeling of MC being air-headed, he is not and you could even sympathize with him.
I would love to have seen a bit different ending but nevertheless this one was good as well.
IMO, it is a good story, definitely has small potential for S2, but truly, there is no need for it.

first of all theres a lot of crappy characters. but halfway of the anime became good to watch. the ending is definitely a must see. the mc is from perverted/wasted guy to somewhat cool. this is not for everybody but the show main focus is parallel world.

past half of the 4th episode i realised i was having stomach cramps of nervousness due to the view of an absolute retard protagonist and a story that was progressing in a "certain" way just because of his ineptitude.
i wondered why i had to suffer that much, so i stopped there and returned to this series not less than a month later, when i had nothing else to watch.
fans of a genre tends to watch also not very good shows, or even bad shows, cause they are fans (same happens to music, cinema, comics, etc, of course); so yeah, for me this show is for fans only, they are the only ones that could bear with characters like those.

In general, it is a good and interesting story. But get ready to drown in stupid and stereotyped flat horny jokes... And strong stupidity of main character in many important things only for the sake of continuation of the "screen time".

The concept of "parallel worlds" has been done before, so I was curious to see the approach this series would take. The beginning was interesting, but as the series progressed, I found it repetitive and the "villains" aren't interesting. The pacing is slow and would've benefited from being 13 eps. In the end, the original source will be able to elaborate fully on details and characters, but this series does an ok job as a game adaption.

Really good series for those into time travel, and ancient civilizations. Series starts basic but grows so much to cover the present, the alternate present times, the future, and eternity. Recommended for all!

This is for best anime to see for summer 2019
At 1st you may think this is one of these anime but then they turn and turn.
A lot of plot twist and new elements gets added to the anime , it's was hardly a predictable anime. the end was surprising too. it's like a puzzle and it's well made.
The main character isn't one of these weak minded character either, and he actually has family.( both future and past etc) each episode giving more exposuring to the whole picture. it was fun and exciting, might even be called a masterpeice but that's for you to decide.
