Hmm...I personally didn't really feel it to be honest...None of the three movies were bad or anything, but I personally only really liked the second one...*shrug*
Mary & The Witch's Flower was better. But then that is to be expected, since that was a feature film. Still, that movie also doesn't really quite reach up to Ghibli's level. It started out great, but then waned a bit as the movie carried on, I feel. Studio Ponoc still has a way to go before I would consider them a good replacement for Ghibli, but of course I'm grateful to them for carrying on the torch. I guess I'm just a bit disappointed since I loved Yonebayashi's work on Arrietty and Marnie, so I was expecting more from him...
