The protagonist's name is Kufa Vampir, and he is SECRETLY a vampire!
That's about the level of subtlety you can expect from this show as a whole.

The dialogue is painful in how much of it is nothing but blatant, inelegant exposition.

And while it's not the worst in this regard, you have to have some tolerance for fetishisation of little girls to enjoy this one.

Still, this is a recommendation, which in my case means I finished it, meaning something did pull me through the 12 episodes. The production values are fine and the whole thing is mostly inoffensive, so it's very easily digestible for when you want to just watch something and turn your brain off.

Trite, but watchable. Ok for genre fans, but only if you have no idea what else to watch.

2010-2015's calling, they want their anime back. It seems like what you would expect from that period where there're like 2-4 series every season with: secretly OP character, who has 1 unique technique than others, harem, sword, bland story, etc (u get my point). But now in better color/quality. Watch it if you're fan of those.

On paper, the premise is interesting... individuals able to power up through mana and there are different types of classes to use these powers. However, the direction this anime went in is very soap opera based with tons of mellow dramatic romance. For fans that enjoy preteen drama/romance.

a romantic story for preteen girls about love between a preteen girl and a cool, strong and romantic guy, who is defenetly, absolutely, completely not lolicon. and he plays doctor with her... aem... to check if her body is O.K. yes.

do not watch it unless you are a preteen girl. or lolicon. just do not expect any fanservice.

Standard sword & magic stuff combo meal with a sweet FL (but come in a set with a not so wanted ML)

Couldn't really find that magical spark that captives me in this series. Sure the plot was simple & easy with sprinkles of interesting events, the artwork especially the backdrops were wonderful here & there. It was rather plain & common in the end, with a few bones to pick though. Parts of the plot felt rushed and unexplained. And the relationship between ML and FL feels weird, undecided romance? teacher-student? ML despite how cool he is, he gives me a bitter taste of dislike in his personality (I dunno maybe he resembles someone).

FL was probably the reason I managed to finish the season. Besides the weird uniform with a cat's eye (mind you I am OK with petanko), found her to be genuine & an interesting character (with a sweet smile) to root for.

All in, its just another of those sword wielding fighter with magic series. For me 4/10 for the effort on the artwork & FL design.
