We get to see a Nekoma match and backstory and everything finally seems to be building towards a battle at the garbage dump.
Matches are still intense, gripping and just plain great and Hinata finally gets to use all he learned in the previous half-season.
Characters from the OVAs finally make their entrance, we get more love for Tanaka and the overall humor is on point as always.
It's more Haikyuu, what else is there to say. :)

Karasuno enters into the second half of Nationals with brand-new opponents: Inarizaki High. The long-standing powerhouse team includes a few familiar faces, namely Miya Atsumu. Named Japan's "best high school setter," Miya previously rubbed elbows with Kageyama at the All-Japan Youth Intensive Training Camp. Karasuno will have to overcome a setter that outranks their own, and Atsumu's twin brother is on the team, too.

This series is just getting better and better on every season! Every character is so loveable, and even they are from different teams, friendship can be form because they love the same sport and chase the same dream. Animation is so detailed and you will never want to miss any second of it. To me, my #1 basketball series is always Slam Dunk, and my #1 volleyball series is Haikyuu!!

It never ceases to amaze me the animation quality, storyline, insight, education, and sheer overall quality of this series. Every season you expect great things, and you get that and more.
The growth of the characters in this series is always what gets me, what keeps me coming back. There are a few moments in this series that are definitely going to end up as memes and awesome gifs. That's how good it was.
As always, I cannot recommend this series enough, and can't wait for another season. The staff behind this is nothing short of fantastic and should have enormous pride in their work.
