The first half is BEAUTIFUL! The main character, well, lets just say, has a "Change of heart". The momentum is infectious, the turn of events
are incredulous, and it is simply, GLORIOUS!
While the second half reels it in, and lets it sink in, kind of like wine after a delicious meal.
Plenty of twists, plenty of new characters, more world building, and a petty decent conclusion!
Season 2 is STILL one of the BEST seasons in this series, easily.

Same formula as season one, this also includes the tone-down conversions from Manga to Anime, although predictable it is a fun watch. Fans should absolutely consider reading the Manga as well.

S2 introduces a few new characters and if you enjoyed the the previous season, the same lighthearted tone and formula is repeated. This season is slower, but it does progress a few character relationships. While there are a some new storylines, fans of S1 will enjoy this season as its pretty much the same structure. Hopefully, S3 focuses more on becoming the Demon King.

I guess, same as first season, you just can't get stupid grin off your face when watching this show. It is definitely a great show, I would probably argue if it was a step down from 1st season, but would totally agree that all the characters are growing. And I kind of wish Iruma would get slightly older for the romance line to be more serious, (I can't help it, I am romantic) but lets see how it goes.

I felt like this was a definitive step down from season 1. However, it seems like this season is laying the framework for a lot of big changes in the next season.
Regardless, there were a lot of significant character growth moments, as well as dynamic shifts in the relationships of the characters.
If I had to classify this season as anything, it would be action, romance (veeeeeeery slow), and comedy (some of it really annoying.).
Here's to hoping that the next season is set up properly to advance the story line as there were quite a few indicators of what was going to happen.
