What I enjoy about this series are multiple things: it is not juvenile, it doesn't needlessly prolong the scenario, and there is almost no angst. Those three items makes this stand so far above any other romance series out there. Especially without pushing into the realm of ecchi/hentai.

If you are looking for a romance series, look no further. Well worth the watch.

IMO best rom-com of winter 2025.
The premise, the animation and the overall feel were impeccable, I enjoyed every moment of it, this has to be one of the most mature (as in, the mature behavior of the characters) well thought and sincere MCs I've seen in anime for quite some time.
It had nearly no silly tropes at all compared to other anime rom-coms, only the usual harmless ones - and even then, they felt like the behavior of the characters is not that much different than any non-Japanese would behave... You know what I mean.
I loved the MCs and the interaction between them, and I REALLY REALLY wish for a 2nd season (since there's a lot more material to work with based off the manga).
9/10, will definitely watch S2 if there will ever be one 👍
