Basically the typical 'wishes gone bad' scenario with an animal theme. Sadly the characters are very flat & stereotypical and the plot is almost 100% predictable if you've seen a few horror movies or Twilight Zone episodes, except for maybe the last episode.
That said, it's not really bad, just very 'been there, done that' if you're a fan of the genre. If you're not, it might be worth checking out. It is - if not inspired - at the very least intelligent horror that knows how to shock without litres of blood and cheap jump scares.

If the rules of the contract are followed, everything goes fine, but if someone should break the rules of the contract, the pet shop cannot be held responsible for anything unfortunate that might happen. Leon Orcot, a homicide detective, has linked many odd and unexplainable deaths together; they all were customers of Count D's pet shop, and he intends to find out why.

This is truly what episodic is all about. Great short watches that contain their own unique story. Each episode is fantastic - especially the third one - it's a superb treat. Delve into the dark world... and not so dark world... of human desire - through Pet Shop of Horrors.
