Murakami & Haruka, two high school students meet their senior year. They decide they should both try and go to Tokyo University so they can be together in college.
This is a short two part OVA. The art and animation are OK. Nothing spectacular. Haruka, the main female character is very cute. The other girls are also cute, and they're all busty. They show some skin here and there but I didn't feel it was too ecchi.
The sound was OK. The music was mostly slower songs to set the mood, and the voice acting was nice. Once again nothing that breaks new ground.
I gave the basic gist of the story in the opening paragraph and I'm sad to say it doesn't get much deeper than that. Its pretty cliche and follows the pattern of your standard love story. There is one twist but nothing else worth much of a mention.
As with all cliche stories, the success or failure of a show come down to the characters. Sadly this is where this anime fails. There is no character development. The anime mainly follows Murakami. There is very little development of any other characters. Given the short length of this anime it is understandable. Unfortunately the development of Murakami's character, if you can call it that is handled very poorly. He starts as an OK guy and ends up as a pathetic excuse for a man. The main problem is that this fall from grace occurs so suddenly, things happen in such a confusing, badly edited way, that you really can't help but say "This is so bloody stupid!"
My friends, save yourself time and bandwidth. Go watch something else. There are far better anime, with far cuter girls and more skin than this one.
