More serious and driven by character drama, which is ultimately to its detriment as the first season did not lay enough groundwork for that, making it very hard to become invested and take the drama as seriously as it takes itself.
There's also a lot more fighting and it frankly looks terrible.
But it does present an ending to the saga, so if you liked the first season or if you're really invested in the characters or plot, you'll find some closure at least.
