If you want to watch the series then this will be a lot of "extra" content for fans. A lot of time is spent on flashbacks, yet those flashbacks are extended and actually explained in the series (as flashbacks) leaving the rest of this ultimately as an extended side-story.

Then Yuzuki had to return to Tokyo, even though Haruto begged her to stay.
Some time later, Haruto is on a class excursion to Tokyo. Finally he will be able to meet Yuzuki again, and give her a special present. But the timing fails and they miss their rendezvous. This oavs are nice, but they are very rushed, this first part is worth of at least 12 episodes, you cannot explict what appened in 10 volumes (if i remember correctly) in two OAV, definetily for fans

Really nice anime - beautifully drawn and properly voiced. It seems to be just another heart warming romance story but it has quite interesting scenario that is just screaming for more episodes and it is really a shame this is only OVA. And also if you are a fan of setting the anime in actual places in Japan (particularly Tokyo) using photorealism (like I am) it is another reason to watch it. What is shown in it are not those most famous places but watching it you can feel like visiting the city yourself.

Despite being a little bit cheesy and kinda over cliché, this was still a solid romance OVA. Definitely recommended if you're a fan of romance.

Solide romance comedy with an old school vibe that remind us of Mazakazu Katsura. Very recommended!
