This one is underrated even as a standalone anime. Together with the manga it is a crime to rate it less then highest mark.
Basically, what we see here are just introduction arcs: 27 out of 100+ manga chapters developed into anime. It is enough for you to notice how good this title is but it goes way way better in later chapters.
Story has a nice pace, decent developments and it revolves around a lot of charismatic characters constantly getting in absurd situations.
Witches are crazy. Every last one of them. Kind of inevitable, since their powers bend reality easily. Even a minor fight looks like the world is about to end. It's uncountable how many times their city got destroyed and reconstructed with magic. That gives story this absurd humorous vibe while keeping the main developments meaningful and serious.
If you love this kind of show, check it out.
PS. Manga has god-tier backgrounds: alligator roaming school corridors, Abrams M1 parked at the gate, etc...

This show has a certain measure of charm to it. As far as production goes, it's probably no better than average, but the writing has a certain level of maturity to it at the same time. Although there is some basic fanservice here and there, they don't rely on ecchi to convey the antics, and although there are some harem-like tones to it, the story is pretty solidly a slow romance. The leading male's a loser, but he at least tries, and although the leading female's that stubbornly aloof sort of naive waifu sort, she has a pretty solid personality. Unfortunately, as a long-running manga, the anime provides no real conclusion at the end, but it ends the introductory arc well enough, I think. Recommended for fans of shounen with some action, lots of quirky-cutesy antics, and a decent overall plot.

Well, for a time killer, it's adequate. There's plenty room to expand the story potential and create some character development. It felt little too complex for 12 episodes anime and was left with little too much unanswered questions.

Very good watch, if anyone has seen Maburaho or Sumomomo this is really similar. Great watch recommended for all. A small warning, the male lead is weak appearing but not really weak. Watch first 2 episodes and enjoy the anime :)

Not a bad watch at all! However, it had many elements in it that could have been better. Although, expecting what kind of anime it'll be by looking at the front cover isn't too far off from what you'd expect it to be! A fun watch if your looking for something to kill time, other than that there are better WAY series out there with similar but not exact premises. 6/10 enjoyable but ultimately lacks substance.

This was unique in the sense that the male lead was the damsel in distress... I sorta enjoyed it. That aside, this was an enjoyable watch with witches and magic. You know you're enjoying the show when it ends and you say "man... this really could've been a 24 ep show". Check this out for some light hearted drama with magic and action sprinkled in.

Good show, good story, but get the translation from FFF if you want to know what's happening. The other groups are NOT good enough, and the same goes for most of the scanlators of the manga. You will lose a LOT of information if you follow other groups, and that explains why some other people had problems with the story.
