This is an April Fool's joke by Nitroplus. On 01.04.2011, an official website for Mahou Shoujo Sonico Magika, a parody of SoniComi (a game by Nitroplus), was opened with the announcement of it being a TV anime. On the same day, the opening video for the so called TV anime was released on YouTube by NitroPlusChannel. This opening is essentially the entire anime. The title is a clear reference to Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika, a TV anime which screenplay was written by a Nitroplus staffer Urobuchi Gen, who also got credited for screenplay for this anime on the official page. No screenplay was ever written, of course.

Tooru is very protective of Run, and will not shy away from the use of an aluminium baseball bat — that she always seems to carry around, even in school — to fend off anyone who gets too chummy with Run. Tooru's apparent smaller stature, and younger age by one year (Class 1-7) should thus not fool anyone into underestimating her.

Run visits Class 2-4 with her friends the timid, tall and quite busty Yuuko, and the level-headed, glasses-wearing Nagi. Through a series of misunderstandings Tooru sees Yuuko as her rival for Run's affection, and reacts quite violently in her jealousy against Yuuko.

Daily life confronts these close friends with all sorts of banal situations, be they in school, in town or at home. But they always pull through... in their own special way.

There is the energetic, always enthusiastic klutz Harukaze Asuna; the strict Sawanatsu Kotone, very skilled in Karate, scares easily, but has a decidedly violent streak; the busty air-headed glutton Akiyama Chitose, captain of the team but actually the least skilled; the sporty, tanned Fuyukawa Kurusu, a soft tennis ace, who loves to wear strange masks and scare Kotone; and finally the blond-haired exchange student from the UK, Elizabeth Warren, a gifted "real" tennis player with a crush on sensei.

Together with Mishimagi You, a former tennis prodigy as teacher and coach, the team's high goals might well be attainable. But will the quirky personalities of these girls be an asset or a hindrance in this endeavour?

In the year 1935, the continent of Europa is engulfed by the flames of war. This great struggle which takes place between the Empire and the Federation, and which also spills over into neighbouring unaligned countries, will be recorded in history as the 2nd European War.

Gallia is a small country which is sucked into the war when the Empire invades its borders. Stories of Gallia's victorious struggle and of its heroes are well documented in the annals of history.

However, there is one group of heroes who never made the front page. A group whose efforts were pivotal to Gallia's victory. That group is the regular army's Squad 422, codename: Nameless, and this is their story.

When Yadomi Jinta was a child, he was a central piece in a group of close friends. In time, however, these childhood friends drifted apart, and when they became high school students, they had long ceased to think of each other as friends.

One of the friends from that group, Honma Meiko, now has a wish she asks Jinta to fulfil. The problem is, she can't remember what her wish is anymore. As Meiko won't cease to bother Jinta about it, he gives in and decides to try to grant this wish he knows nothing of; for that, however, the help of his other former friends, now all very estranged from himself and from each other, may turn out to be necessary. He hasn't spoken to Anjou Naruko, Matsuyuki Atsumu, Tsurumi Chiriko, or Hisakawa Tetsudou in a long time; as he struggles to grant Meiko's wish and gathers his old friends together in the process, all the old feelings that still exist between them and have long been stashed away are bound to come up again.
