The Little Box

When a close friend moved into her very first apartment, I put together a little housewarming present for her. 'The Little Box of Useful Things That Invariably Disappear When You Need Them The Most' was exactly what the title describes it as- a box full of useful products that every household should have, yet the kind of things that no one really buys until one find day, they need them. 

I filled the box with needles, spools of thread, a tape measure, a spare bulb, a bottle opener, a bottle of rum (for emergencies) match-sticks, candles and lots of other little things. I had a great time with the design- I made boxes for each product, with illustrations on each and fun copy. I put it all together in a big square box, with a silhouette of her cat- Gogo.
