Appalachian Wireless is protected under the transitory digital network communications safe harbor provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the “DMCA”) (see 17 U.S.C. 512(a)). If you are a copyright owner and believe Appalachian Wireless or one of its subscribers has infringed upon your copyright in some way not protected by the safe harbor provisions, you may notify Appalachian Wireless’s registered DMCA Compliance Agent listed below. All copyright notifications must comply with the requirements of the DMCA.

Subscribers: Counter Notifications (Denial of Infringement)
Any customer or person who receives a copyright infringement notice and wishes to deny or contest the alleged infringement is entitled to submit a counter notification with Appalachian Wireless’s DMCA Compliance Agent (mailing address and email address listed above). The counter notification must comply with the requirements of the DMCA and must be submitted within ten (10) days of the date of the original copyright infringement notice.
It is the policy of Appalachian Wireless, in appropriate circumstances, to terminate service to subscribers who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers in the sole discretion of Appalachian Wireless.
