This "Berlin" porcelain dinner service was created in 1996 by the Milan designer Enzo Mari for Berlin's royal porcelain manufactory: KPM (Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin).
The result combines classic lines with contemporary accents. The "Berlin" dinner service won the Design Award in 1998 and has already become a classic of the new century.

KPM Berlin stands for unique porcelain and stylish design of the highest level. This skilled handicraft, developed over generations, continues to be carried out at the original location.

The legendary king of Prussia, Frederick the Great, gave KPM its name and royal emblem: the royal blue sceptre. It has become a symbol of the standard and quality of each masterpiece leaving the manufactory.
