Daniel Acheson, aka Atch, began his musical journey in the small industrial town of Burnie on Tasmania’s North-West. At age 13 he picked up the electric guitar and spent his youthful years honing his craft as the bassist in a pop-rock band. As University beckoned, Atch decided to part with his musical aspirations and embark down the academic path, completing two degrees. However in 2017, his desire to pursue a more meaningful life and newfound love for electronic music was the catalyst he needed to take the plunge into music production. Atch first gained traction in 2019 when he began releasing free background music for content creators. He quickly amassed a keen interest in his guitar-infused electronic tones and found his music used in hundreds of thousands of online videos.
