Kenny Johnston

Producer and musician Kenny Johnston brings you a hypnotic mix of Tech House and Progressive House beats. While Kenny takes his inspiration from all genres of dance music, key influences are Sasha and John Digweed, Steve Lawler and Green Velvet. Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Kenny qualified with Honours in classical guitar and music theory. At age 31 he boldly left Scotland for Los Angeles where he composed tracks for various metal bands. Once introduced to house music several years later, he realized the many similarities between the two genres and was compelled to switch lanes. Having released several tracks to date, with a Number 1 on Beatport’s Progressive House Hype Chart, Kenny intends to keep producing from his home in Toronto Canada, creating more beats to make you move.
