AEYA is a child of the early 1980s. Growing up in a musical environment. Her father, a passionate bass guitarist and singer, recognised and encouraged her interest. He took her to concerts, to the opera and to the theatre. She listened to music of all kinds from a very early age. Her absolute favourite artists at that time: The Cure, New Order, Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, Mike Oldfield and Tangerine Dream. She got into techno and house through her older sister, whose tapes she secretly listened to. The DJ mixes of the HR3 Clubnight in the mid and late 1990s were groundbreaking for her and consolidated her enthusiasm for electronic music.
