Amalia Leandro

Amália Leandro has been a DJ, spoken word artist for over two decades, spinning in North America, Europe, Central America and the Caribbean. Her passion for house music started in her hometown Toronto, where her style has been influenced from, along with living in NYC, Europe, and her years formerly based in Miami Beach. After playing the main clubs, and after hours in Miami during the early 2000’s she was on the cover of The Miami New Times, May 6-12 2004, and was featured in Ocean Drive Magazine October 2004, Beach Patrol section as one of “The People Who Make Miami”. Amália’s sets can range from a club, poolside rooftop, private party or after hours, and depending on the situation are a blend of incorporating classic/90’s house roots, deep house, minimal, groovy tech house, and techno.
