London-based DJ and Producer Kid Blue's career stretches back to the mid-nineties Birmingham house and techno scenes. He came of age listening to local heroes such as Surgeon and Higher Intelligence Agency, and it was in Birmingham that he had his earliest DJ residencies. A move to Leeds in led to him establishing the ground-breaking Technique night, which ruled Saturday nights at the legendary Mint Club for several years. It was at Technique that he honed his trademark blend of chunky, bass-driven house, techno, breaks and electro while playing alongside a who's who of electronic music's biggest names. He moved to London in 2006 and took up residencies at The End and Ministry of Sound, release a string of singles and EPs on Lot49 and Fat! Records, and play regular gigs across
