Three words that defines his character musically: Introverted, Artistic and Nocturnal. His move to the City of Pretoria was indeed a catalyst he needed for his musical odyssey and to pursue his dream of being a music producer. Born and bred as Shawn Sibanyoni, hailing from the streets of his hometown Witbank situated in Mpumalanga, SHAWNASTRO met his intuition of being a deep house producer since his high school days until 2016 where he went deep in music production. Producing under the pseudonym SHAWNASTRO, he saw his music journey coming on a right direction after his first project “Shyseven’s Theme” was released digitally under Modjadeep Musik leading him to be well known in the underground music scene. Followed by his second project “QUINTESSENTIAL” released under Deep House Cats SA with the
