Tim Baker - DJ/Producer This native Detroiter has made his charismatic presence felt in the arts and entertainment industry as a DJ, promoter, clothing designer and producer. His insight and passion for music began advancing over 20 years ago in 1984 when he received his first turntables. From there Baker spawned the Elephanthaus collective which hosted notorious underground parties of Detroit circa 1992-1998, fashioned an exceptional street wear clothing line, and finally Baker has created a musical career that has sent him globetrotting throughout the world’s best clubs and festivals. Tim Baker’s frequent visits to several Detroit underground clubs such as, the Majestic Theater and the Music Institute to hear Derrick May left a lasting musical impression on him.
