DJ Hector Carrero

Dj Hector Carrero has worked in the electronica scene in Colombia since 1990. He started as the resident Dj in one of Bogota?s main clubs Up and Down. He then moved on to working on a mix show in 88.9 La Superestacion (one of the leading stations at the time). In 1992 he joined BMG Colombia to work as a club promoter for dance music where he developed a magazine catered to Djs and clubs. Universal Music came afterwards where he worked as a club promoter and a Dance Product Manager. During this period of time several successful compilations were released; Universal Clubbing, Dance Mix, and the groundbreaking Rave Nation. Rave Nation was a compilation that for the first time united original productions from local djs. This title received amazing reviews from media
