This emblematic German liqueur with an inimitable taste is a concentrate of 56 plants which give it a unique character.
The recipe has always remained unchanged and secret, even if a few ingredients have been revealed over time: ginger, cinnamon, star anise, or even orange peel. The plants are crushed then macerated in neutral alcohol and water in large oak barrels for at least a year.
A symbol of Jägermeister since always, the stag's head with the cross between the antlers recalls Saint Hubert, patron of hunters, who watches over the company.
