Distillerie Massenez, between elegance, tradition and avant-gardism

Founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez in Urbeis in the Val de Villé, the Distillerie Massenez has evolved over the generations to become a major player in distillation, synonymous with excellence and innovation.

It was Eugène Massenez, son of the founder, who opened the doors to success by distilling Wild Raspberry for the first time, winning the heart of the Queen of Sweden. The company then took off again under the impetus of Gabriel Eugène Massenez, the third generation, who became associated with haute gastronomy and its Michelin-starred chefs. It was Paul Bocuse who inaugurated the company's new distillery, established in 1979 to support its development. The fourth generation, represented by Manou Massenez, has gone on to build the brand's international reputation by establishing itself in over 110 countries.

In 2010, Massenez joined forces with Grandes Distilleries Peureux, marking a new era under the leadership of Bernard Baud, Manou Massenez and Elodie Naslin. It's a union that's bringing a breath of fresh air, more focused on new consumer trends, like the brand's latest 2 unique liqueurs: the Roquefort liqueur and the Baguette liqueur!
