The House of Veuve Cliquot is celebrating its new 2012 vintage by honouring the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and who better to celebrate Madame Cliquot, this great lady of champagne, than another woman who has also revolutionised her milieu. 

On this bottle we find the truculent universe of Yayoi Kusama with its unmistakable colourful flowers and its accumulation of peas, which symbolise the floral notes of this champagne, between power and delicacy.

As if to celebrate Madame Cliquot's love for the floral and delicate notes of this champagne, this creation seals the encounter between the parallel universes of these two women with equally fascinating destinies.

Tasting notes 

• Colour: Very beautiful, with golden yellow reflections and a fine, delicate mousse.
• Nose: A bouquet of white flowers with jasmine, honeysuckle and vine flowers which precedes more flowery notes of apple, pear and peach, before offering fresher notes of almonds. 
• Palate: The silky texture of the mouth makes it more complex and elegant between notes of dried apricot, honey, hazelnut and some candy sugar notes.
• Finish: oscillates between depth and power and finishes imposing its personality. 

We advise you to serve this bottle between 10 and 12°, with fresh herbs and pats of vegetables or fresh fruit.

Its optimal ageing potential is 10 to 15 years.
