This Norwegian salmon smoked with cherry wood and infused with gin was made from the best salmon from Sea Frais partner aquaculture farms. Once selected, these salmon are filleted and salted in coarse Pyrenees salt, in which they will remain for a few hours before being washed and then dried.

Then, head to the smoking room ! Sea Frais uses different wood chips to smoke them, to bring a unique flavor to each recipe. Here, it is with the delicate scent of cherry wood that the salmon has been smoked . Finally, it's time for the last step, and perhaps the most important: maturation in a cold room for a few days.

It is this step which will create the perfect osmosis of the product. This step and the best kept secret of the house: its recipe! A gin infusion that pays homage to the English origins of the founder of Sea Frais and gives the salmon gourmet and unique flavors .

You will be surprised by the softness of this salmon as well as the unique scent of this original formula combining juniper berries and a delicately scented English gin.

Chronofresh delivery

To guarantee its freshness, the delivery of this product is done with Chronofresh, a service created by Chronopost for the rapid delivery of fresh products with temperature monitoring throughout the journey.

Maintain the cold chain by placing this product in the refrigerator upon receipt; you can keep it until around January 2nd.

If you are absent on the day of delivery, a notice will be left in your mailbox inviting you to contact customer service to reschedule a new delivery. The package will be delivered to you in person.

Sea Frais Gold: smoking excellence and exceptional salmon!

A true salmon specialist, Luan Cronin launched his Sea Frais smoked salmon processing workshop in 2021. Working in partnership with Norwegian fish farms in particular, he selects the best salmon, which are then processed in his smokehouse built in the outbuildings of a former priory, a unique location in the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel.

The secret of his excellence? Traditional smoking and the use of different types of wood shavings. Beech, alder, oak, apple, cherry, spruce, birch, chestnut, hickory - each wood brings its own distinctive character and flavour to the salmon. And then there are the infusions... Gin, whisky, calvados... This is the house's best-kept secret, the one that enhances the salmon and brings out all its flavours, so that every tasting experience is a real pleasure!

But Sea Frais Gold is also a complete range of seafood products, allowing you to discover some of the riches of our oceans, like sprats, those little fish cousins of sardines that add an original touch to your aperitifs.
