The Z Hotel Covent Garden, hotel in London

Z Covent Garden offers a 113 bedroom hotel in the heart of London’s West End.

The Z Hotel in Covent Garden is in the heart of the action. It was close to everything. It was 3 minutes from the underground and you could grab an Uber. The staff was friendly and the room, 96 square feet, was small but we only used it to sleep. We were rarely there. So, that said, it was exactly what we needed.

Public transport was extremely accessible and easy to use.

Public transport was extremely accessible and easy to use. We went to visit the Phantom of the Opera musical which was definitely the highlight of our trip. I recommend booking things way in advance to make sure there are available spots, as most of the sky views are booked a month before. We had a great time!

As the world major tourist spot, London is always amazing. however, as the economy of UK is not so well, the city looks a bit seedy. e.g. the IKEA will occupy a prime site in Oxford Street. It is it fact downgrading the attractiveness of London

London is an underrated food destination - arguably better than Paris. Lots of good French brasseries plus a whole lot more ethnic choices. Nothing is oversalted, either; the food in London is better than San Francisco.

The location of the hotel in Canning Town was perfect for connecting with Tube services, railway services and bus services. Canninng Town itself is very vibrant as a shopping area and there is easy access to the river and other sites in London via Canning Town Tube Station and bus services. There are plenty of affordable eateries nearby and even though travelling alone I felt safe walking around Canning Town and along Silvertown Way to other nearby sites. Plenty to see and do!

I’m always happy to be in London and fantastic sights to visit with restaurants in such diversity and hospitality as good as you can find anywhere else, travel is always easy for all areas to visit, and football matches are in numbers to watch! I will always recommend the friendly atmosphere in the west end and the best nights in theatre and bars in a close proximity , ℹ travel alone but never felt alone or unsafe at all. First time we stayed, we booked the cheapest and the smallest room with no window. That was a bit claustrophobic but worth the money. Second time we stayed I managed to secure an upgrade which was nice. Best thing about this hotel is location. Paddington is great to stay in as there are great food places near by, train goes straight to Heathrow Airport, train goes to all the great things you want to see in London and it's in 1 zone so cheap. I also felt safe in Paddington.

I rated this hotel highly because my expectations were quite low given the budget price. As a regular gig-goer I am used to staying in cheaper more dated hotels, some of which have been awful. as far as value for money this is a great stop over. Has all the essential facilities and the rooms were pristine, staff were so friendly. We didn't get to try the restaurant, it seems about right for london price wise though.
