1 night stay with husband, my sister and brother in law. Location excellent. Very spacious and clean hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Only thing about our room was no mirror to dry my hair. And tv on side wall so could not see properly from bed and had to get out of bed to change channel, and volume. Other than that lovely stay. Will go back.

Right in the centre of the main street , it has a real cafe culture and is a fun place to be. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming . The room was spacious with a huge bed and full height window overlooking the street. Soundproofing and blackout facilities meant we had an amazing sleep despite lots of nearby partying happening . There is a wonderful cocktail bar all dark and comfy inside , a great place to kick-start a mini break! Breakfast was lovely, perfectly poached eggs. We will definitely recommend this place and be back soon. We parked in the NPC as we were only there for 24 hours, the hotel offers valet parking for longer stays.

The bed was small and uncomfy , the sink was blocked on arrival and there wasn't a chair in the room to sit on , also anyone who has a toddler with them would have to be careful if the window was open as the child's bed was right beneath the window which was open on arrival , the hotel could do with a lift aswell because it's a hike up the stairs with suitcases , also the bar bill is very expensive £ 6 for a pint and £10 for a double when it's less than half that in mavericks , been coming here for years but I'm really put off , think I will try some were else next time sorry

The hotel is in a lovely location. The staff were very friendly and the food was ok. Unfortunately there was a problem with the drains in the bathroom which was most unpleasant. Maintenance came out twice during my 4 night stay to sort the problem and told me that it was a result of the hotel being busy! In addition there was a wedding at the hotel on Saturday. The function room is on the same floor as the bedrooms and this meant I had to endure very loud music until midnight.

We enjoyed returning to Southport as we have visited before for day trips from Warrington when my son lived there, he now lives just outside Southport so we decided to stay in the town. Ideal for visiting other places and to see other relatives.

We like southport but the council needs to sort out the pier which is the biggest draw and is still closed, spend your ratepayers money in the right places and it will surely benefit many people, locals and tourists.

Southport like most places has deteriorated but still has lots to offer at very affordable prices. The sea front, beach and marine lake are good facilities for the appropriate times of the year. All year round Lord St still has character coupled with a reasonable shopping centre for a spend, great for walking and enjoying a brew or food in one of the numerous establishments many of which have evening entertainment
Location is good to visit Liverpool with good transport connections
Plenty of wetlands for accessible birdwatching so all in all a good place to visit

An exceptionally good hotel in a perfect, central location. The room was very comfortable with a huge bed and the added bonus of a fridge and coffee machine.
The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The staff were professional, friendly and efficient.
We will definitely stay at The Vincent Hotel when we next visit Southport.
The location of the rooms are absolutely spot on and in reach of plenty of Southport sights.
Very warm welcome from all the staff we came across and a lovely gesture of 10% off in the bar for hotel guests. Room was well stocked with tea and coffee, nice and warm and very clean.
Fantastic location in the heart of Southport. Lots of great restaurants, shops and bars to explore on the doorstep.
The hotel is beautiful with a lovely bar area and restaurant. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly.
Room was clean and well decorated. Huge comfortable bed.
