Bhutan is an immensely beautiful country and this trip really does cover the essence of it. You will get to see beautiful views of Himalaya mountains, you will visit a number of unique monasteries, historical fortresses and natural sights. The sequence of the visited places is well chosen, with the hiking trip to the Tiger´s nest the day before your departure. A cap is a must and some prior hiking training is an advantage. The food was very fine, with the hosts able to prepare a vegetarian option. Guide and driver both excellent. This really has been, without exaggeration, one of our best holiday trips. People were friendly, hospitable and the places we visited were magical, with no, or only a very few tourists.

My story

This 3-day trip from Marrakech into the remote dunes of Erg Chigaga was nothing short of enchanting. This tour operator crafted an unforgettable desert experience that combined the best adventure, culture, and breathtaking scenery. In only a short period of time outside of the vibrant streets of Marrakech, we found ourselves amidst the wild beauty of Morocco, passing by small villages and historic kasbahs en-route. Every stop brought us one step closer to the heart of the country, while our driver, Hakim, provided interesting insights into local customs and desert life that made every moment richer. Reaching Erg Chigaga was a dream come true: riding camels at sunset and watching the sand turn gold under the dying light, night spent in the desert camp seemed lifted from a storybook. The camp was both comfortable and authentic at the same time, whereas the politeness of the staff made us feel welcome and at ease. We had music and stories under the star-filled sky of the night, completely imbued with the magic of the Sahara. We couldn't have asked for more with this perfectly curated trip-into-the-sand dunes. If someone wants a truly genuine and well-planned desert expedition, this tour is highly recommended. It left us with memories that we'll carry forever.

Journey of a lifetime

My desert adventure from Marrakech to Erg Chigaga was truly a journey of a lifetime. The trip was perfectly organized, taking us from the lively streets of Marrakech through the rugged beauty of the Atlas Mountains, and into the vast, silent Sahara. Each stop along the way was well-planned and offered unique experiences—from visiting traditional Berber villages and historical kasbahs to tasting local Moroccan cuisine in authentic settings. The highlight was reaching the remote Erg Chigaga dunes, where we rode camels into the heart of the Sahara at sunset and spent a magical night in a desert camp under a sky full of stars. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe throughout the journey. This tour company exceeded my expectations, and I’d recommend them to anyone who wants to discover Morocco’s desert in an immersive, unforgettable way.

Memorable Desert Escape to Erg Chigaga Sahara Morocco

Wow, our 3-day tour in the desert from Marrakech to Erg Chigaga was absolutely unforgettable! Sceneries were breathtaking-from the High Atlas Mountains to the great dunes of Erg Chigaga. The night spent on the desert camp in the stars was something peculiarly special. Other historical stops, such as Ait Ben Haddou, added much cultural value to the whole trip. While the itinerary was full of amazing experiences, some of the drives were quite long and tiring at times, but that's part of the adventure!
