Our trip today was incredible. Because of your organization and putting the right people in place, we were able to experience another culture and world so different from ours. Our driver, Manuel, was wonderful and such a lovely man. We would like to be neighbors to he and his wife . He not only drive us to Tarifa, but walked with us through the town. Then ushered us to the ferry, waited for us to return, and took us back to our hotel. Mohammad, our guide in Tangier was very well versed on the world on which he was raised, and offered us insights into the past and present of his culture and country. Very enjoyable!

This glacier expedition takes you on top of the breathtaking Svínafellsjökull Glacier tongue. You will experience hiking on a glacier and learn the basics of rope work. Your guide will teach you all you need to know about the natural phenomena, outlet glacier of the Vatnajökull glacier, the largest and most voluminous ice cap in Iceland. You will meet your guide at the parking lot at Skaftafell Information Centre, and after a 15 minute drive, you will be at the tip of the Svínafellsjökull glacier tongue. The glacier Svínafellsjökull is located in Skaftafell, the highest mountain range in Iceland. On a clear day, you will be able to see the highest peak in the country, Hvannadalshnjúkur. The area has been formed over thousands of years by influences of the volcanic eruptions and glaciers in the area, fire, and ice! Our experienced guides will teach you all you need to know and have you walking safely on the glacier in no time. Safety equipment and briefings are provided before each tour. Sirma was terrific. She took us to little out of the way places (like the Kommittee bar) and really gave us a good overview of the city, Tirana history, etc. We wanted to sample some local cuisine and we definitely did (yum, barek). Highly recommend!

Ivan was very knowledgeable, and provided a lot of details about everywhere we visited, and the history of the Balkans. He also made sure everyone was having a good time, and was always able to answer all queries. I thought that Ivan was fantastic. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

An outstanding cycle trip

If you'd like a highly scenic ride in a lovely country, then this is the trip for you. We cycled up and down hills with amazing sea views, and visited stunning towns, villages and vineyards. We stayed at some lovely places, swam in the sea and ate very well. Alan was one of the best leaders I've experienced, and our group was lovely. They ranged in age from 30s to 70s; some were strong cyclists, others not. However all were catered for, and the support bus was always available. There were no long transports, and the ferry trips were great. The climate was pleasantly hot, and the wine flowed.
