These are great photos. Really beautiful birds over there in Africa. I especially like the vivid colors. It looks like you got some fine details in most of them. I especially like the Kingfisher, the Sunbird, and the Blue Cranes.

Absolutely magnificent series. Amost (but not quite) makes me want to become a bird photographer (I don't have the patience for wildlife). Although every shot is great, the kingfisher in action and the heron with its lunch in its beak are wondereful!

Just to say that all of the images you have shared with us from Africa are exceptionally beautiful. Thank you so much for taking the time to share. I viewed your gallery because I'm completely enthralled by your images, and much to my delight I found a whole stash of gorgeous images. I also adore your landscapes.

All of these are wonderful but my favourites (simply because they are extra special to me) are the Kingfisher in action, Birchall's Coucal, and especially the Black-headed Oriole.

I said I would return. All excellent but the Birchall's Coucal and the Goliath Heron stand out for me just because of the light you have captured.
