Electric is right at all the sites. Bathrooms are clean with a lot of stalls and showers. Dishwashing sink on the side of the bathroom. Dogs are allowed at the campground but not allowed on the beach. You can still walk them on the canal. Breeze is always nice. Only reason for the 4 stars is how expensive it is / misleading rates. It’s “$22 a night” for MA residents but that’s before the $4 water and $6 electric fees, along with a $2 trust fund fee. So it’s really $34 a night.

I was able to get a last minute reservation for a Saturday and Sunday night. Quiet campground, site was nice and there was not right on top of neighboring sites. Bathroms and showers were clean and close to site. Beach was a little bit of a walk but well worth it. Tmobile signal varied between 1 and 2 bars of 5G.

Not a ton of privacy within sites here, but access to Cape Cod Bay/biking + walking trail as well as the beach is great. Super bummer that RV sites are not allowed fire rings - community fire pit at the entrance of the park only.

Whewee! If you're not an MA resident 2021 camping prices (with non-MA fees + other fees) is $82 per night. But... it's a nice campground. Mostly because it's at a nice beach. They kind of beach that causes a back-up in traffic 1/2 mile long on sunny 80º days in the summer. And, if you are camping here, you get to skip that line and head straight to your campsite, which is a quick walk to the beach from any campsite. If you're not a beach person, there is also a canal to fish, trap, or sit next to and watch boats - big and small - traverse.
The campground itself is... fine. About 1/2 of the sites are out in the open without cover, and the other half have some form of tree or shrub situation that might provide some shade or separation from other sites, which aren't tight, but are definitely adjacent.
The water situation here is a bit.. tough. For whatever reason, the water spigots are almost always on the wrong side of the rig and require 50'-100' of hose to reach. While we were in site 1 (an open field type site) we were sharing our spigot with 3 other rigs and needed 3 hoses to reach the spigot. Both of our sites had 50A though, which was nice. Site 67 has some shading and bushes which provided some privacy, but not much. It was also a bit tricky to get our big rig into the site; thankfully the camp host (who was awesome) proactively asked our neighbors to move their vehicles so that we could squeak in.
We didn't use the bathrooms... but they were a situation. Out of curiosity I stumbled into the women's shower house/bathrooms.... and then stumbled out grateful I wouldn't need to use them. At one point in our stay, the entire bathhouse (men's and women's) was closed for 2 days due to sewer issues (which apparently have been going on for years).
The campground was wonderfully quiet at night.
We were here during the 4th of July holiday. It rained the entire 4th weekend, which was nice for keeping the campground calm and the beach quiet, but a bit of a bummer. The fireworks from here were still awesome. The houses on the adjacent beaches (Sagamore, etc) really light it up, providing a free show for everyone.
Verizon service was awful here - even with a few bars the tower was saturated and nearly useless for data. AT&T LTE service was great.

The water hookups are shared between multiple sites and we had to to run to the hardware store to buy another hose (needed 75 ft). Electric and water services were fine. There are no sewer connections but there is a two-way dump station. My wife us d the bathhouse and said it was okay. There is a 7 mile (one-way) paved trail along Cape acid canal and the beach is fantastic. Its long and the view is very nice. There is a snack shack at the beach that serves burgers, ice cream, drinks, etc. It is about an hour and twenty minutes to downtown Boston.

We booked through Reserve America not long before our arrival and felt lucky to get a site during the week, weekends were not available. The campground was easy to find, with good signs on roads in the area. Campground checking was straightforward and site easy to locate. All sites are back-in, with paved access and campsite parking areas. Electric hookups are at each site and are in great condition. Water service is from shared faucets between 4 adjoining campsites, so good to have an extension hose. No sewer connections. The dump station is on the way out of the park and can accommodate two trailers at a time. The daily rate of $48 for non-residents seems a bit pricy with no sewer, but apparently that is common for New England state parks. There is reasonable separation between sites, and in some cases there is vegetation screening, but more typically not.
We enjoyed biking on the bike path along the Cape Cod Canal, a great bike path with access from the campsite. Fishing in the canal was also popular. The beach park is separated from the campground, and had separate parking lot and facilities, but is very nearby. The restroom in the campground was clean and well maintained. The only complaint we had with the facilities is that the restroom is undersized for the size of the campsite, with 3 toilets and showers each, men’s and women’s, for a pretty large number of campsites

This is a beautiful state park just before the bridge over to Cape Cod and Sandwich. Some sites looked very close together near the front and they were open with no privacy. We were in site 21 near the back that had a good amount of space and privacy. We have a 41 ft 5th wheel and had just enough space with the truck parked sideways across the driveway. The 7 mile bike path along the canal is beautiful and can be accessed from the campground. The beach access is also convenient. Check-in was a bit of a hassle because we got there at 12:50 and they will not let anyone check in until precisely 1pm. So I had to join the long line of others waiting until 1pm. I understand not allowing early check-in, but a few minutes shouldn't be a big deal. We also didn't intentionally show up early, but we were coming from another park in RI where we had to leave by 11 and it didn't take quite 2 hours to get to Scusset Beach no matter how slow we drove. This park is pretty expensive for a state park with no sewer hookups, but it's partly because of the out-of-state up-charge. That seems a little unfriendly to me considering we are from Florida which does not charge extra at the state parks for out-of-state visitors. I guess Florida is more welcoming to tourists. Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile all worked well. Flynns Irish Pub serves fantastic specialty burgers, we liked them so much we went twice. They are on special on Tuesdays.
