Dacey Cockrill Is Now Associate Attorney At Eric Buchanan And Associates

  • Thursday, July 5, 2018

Eric Buchanan and Associates announce that Dacey Cockrill will be joining the firm as an associate attorney in August after taking the Tennessee bar exam.

This May, Ms. Cockrill graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law ranked number two in her class.  During law school, she held positions in Law Women and the Pro Bono Executive Board and volunteered with numerous pro bono projects.  In her third year of law school, she worked at the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic where she helped low-income clients in Knox County obtain Orders of Protection.  Before law school, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in political science.

Ms. Cockrill has worked for the firm for over three years as both a client assistant and a law clerk.  She is excited to contribute to the team, work closely with clients, and help clients fight for their benefits.

Ms. Cockrill and her cat, Isabelle, are looking forward to moving back to Chattanooga.  Outside of studying and working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family (particularly her adorable niece), reading, running and listening to podcasts.
