There's snow on the ground here.
I'm not joking. I only wish that I was.

It seems that the more the powers that be try to hype snow after early March – the more they fall flat on their face (lol). By this time of year the hype is just getting boring.

I just checked the traffic cams (DOT) not even a dusting, zip, zero, on the ground from Stamford to New London on I-95…its just green grass.

Must be that “solar angle”

SIGNIFICANT SNOW HAS FALLEN IN MARLBOROUGH/GLASTONBURY AREA! I could only see the tips of the grass poking through the snow. CANCEL SCHOOL! Where are the plows???

Looks like just another big hyped up ball of nothing!

75 Miles from Hartford in NorthBorough, MA half foot fell already...

25, 000 people without power in NH.

Moisture starved storm intensified a bit too East for NY/CT area and too far North. Instead of before Long Island its strengthening AFTER Long Island.

Like I always say : Mother Nature has a mind of her own.

While this storm wont do anything for the NY/CT area, I wouldn't make immature jokes about it because people lives are being affected by this storm. Trees are falling from the wet/heavy snow. Look at the totals from it not too far from us..

Like I said, Hold off on the immature comments. Just because you're not seeing anything in your backyard doesn't mean people aren't being affected by this storm that took a jog too far East for us past 24hrs. I warned you about that. It could shift hours before giving us nothing or giving us more. Be lucky it shifted East.

NorthEast snow amounts so far:

Boylstown, MA: 7.7";
Deerfield, NH: 7";
Vaughan Woods, ME: 6.5";
Burrillville, RI: 4.0"

agreed I do feel bad for the people north and north east of here, no joke when the snow is that heavy, things come toppling down. I'm glad we got barely a dusting here in Glastonbury, should be gone by tomorrow morning....heavy rain all next week that should be it for the snow till after Thanksgiving I hope.
