The week of March 2 - March 8 gives us the opportunity to highlight the hard work of two very talented groups of Connally Cadets!
It's National School Diagnostician Appreciation Week AND National School Social Work Appreciation Week!
The students of Connally ISD are lucky to be served by an outstanding team of Educational Diagnosticians! Courtney Rickman, Kelsi Nelson, and Erin Whitley go above when setting and upholding the #CadetStandard! They work hard to collaborate with our teachers and students to help every child find academic success!
Ashley Patterson serves Connally ISD as our School Social Worker. School Social Workers play a vital role in fostering connections, advocating for equity, and driving social and emotional growth for our students. Ashley does an exceptional job of helping each of our students know that they are valuable, capable, and important!
We are so thankful for each of these Cadets!

As we gear up for potential travel over Spring Break, the Health District of the City of Waco has been in contact with local schools with updates regarding the spread of measles in the State of Texas. The state is currently experiencing its largest outbreak of the disease in 30 years. There are not currently any documented cases of measles in Connally ISD.
Measles is a highly contagious respiratory illness that can be fatal. Following appropriate health and wellness protocols can help individuals keep themselves healthy.
The most common symptoms of measles first present themselves as similar symptoms to the cold/flu, including cough, congestion/runny nose, watery eyes, and koplik spots. Patients with measles will often run a high fever between 103-105 degrees and will demonstrate a rash in the forehead area, hairline, neck, torso, hands, and feet. By the time a rash appears, an individual will have been contagious for approximately 4 days and will remain contagious for an additional 4.

As the month of February comes to a close, it is our distinct pleasure to recognize the Connally ISD Business Department for all of their hard work!
February 26, 2025 was established as the FIRST EVER School Business & Operations Day. This day is dedicated to recognizing, celebrating, and appreciating the vital work of school business and operations professionals across the state.
The CISD Business Office is one of the very best in our state. They consistently go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that all bills are paid in a timely manner, that deposits reach our various accounts quickly, and that our financial transparency is of the absolute highest caliber. Without this office, we literally would not have the lights on in our buildings!
Please join us in thanking this outstanding team of professionals! Lesia Phillips serves as Connally ISD's Accounts Payable Clerk and Jennifer Moss serves as the district's Director of Finance. This team is an absolute MODEL representation of the #CadetStandard!
We appreciate all that you do!

Our 2nd-8th grade students have been hard at work this year preparing for their district competitions in A+ UIL Academics. We are excited to announce the results of these competitions!
