Brianna Chickenfry hits back at rumors Barstool's Dave Portnoy paid her $10m for tell-all Zach Bryan interview
Brianna 'Chickenfry' LaPaglia has addressed rumors that she was paid by her Barstool Sports podcast co-host Dave Portnoy for a 'tell-all' about her ex-boyfriend, country music star Zach Bryan.
Bryan and LaPaglia had been dating for a year when they abruptly separated last month.
In a TikTok post from over the weekend, LaPaglia denied that she was paid for her story - and that she had taken 'the high road' compared to the musician.
'I'm trying to keep my composure, because I know that when a woman gets mad, or a woman gets angry, how it's perceived and I don't want my message to get lost through that,' she began in her post.
'I see a lot of people being like, "Well, Dave just gave her $10million to do a tell-all, so she took money anyway." Dave didn't give me any money.'

She continued: 'A tell-all? You think that was a tell-all? I took the high road. What I did was set a scene, paint a picture, and if you can't see that very clear picture, I don't have time to hold your hand and walk you to LensCrafters, okay? Sorry.'
LaPaglia then added that she was losing money: 'I am paying for storage, I am paying for movers, I am paying for f***ing flights back and forth to New York to go and try and find an apartment.'
In a separate post, she also revealed that she would be keeping a tattoo of lyrics to a song of Bryan's.
'I see a lot of people being like, well now I have to get my "How lucky are we?" tattoo removed. That was my thing. That is my tattoo. Now we're matching. This is mine. "How lucky are we?" that's me,' she said.
In the past week, Portnoy has repeatedly come to the defense of his podcast co-host dropping multiple diss tracks over the course of a few days.
Portnoy first dropped the track 'Smallest Man', which attacked Bryan over his hairline, an arrest back in 2023, and allegations of infidelity and that he was carrying sexually transmitted diseases.
Unfortunately for the Barstool founder, that track was taken down by Warner Music who claimed that there were copyright issues.

That hasn't prevented Portnoy from doing live performances of the song live at Barstool events, like last Saturday's Barstool College Football Show.
Portnoy even appeared to suggest that he'd record alternate versions of the song in order to keep the attacks out in the open.
'Fine, you think that's just it? You think we're going to just put 'Smallest Man' away? I will write 10,000 diss tracks,' a shirtless Portnoy said in a video shared to X. 'I will go do die in the booth. I will put the headsets on and come back spitting bars twice as hot.
'Maybe we do 'Dave's version' — I hear Bri may get in the booth and do her version. We will figure this s*** out. [It] may take 24 hours, but the more Warner Music Group acts like little f***ing p—–s and Zach Bryan little f***ing p**s.
'…. The more they worry about this s*** the worse it's going to get. You're in the mud. You got me mad I'm gonna have to get in the booth. I thought it was going to be one and done. I don't care. I'll keep spitting.'
Then, on Sunday, Portnoy released another diss track called 'Country Diddy' - which attacked Bryan over his alleged attempts to get LaPaglia to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) about the breakup.
Bryan and LaPaglia were romantically involved from the summer of 2023 until last month when the 'blindsiding' breakup happened.
She claims that she was offered a massive payout to keep quiet about the relationship, but that she turned it down - also branding him as abusive.
'I said, "f*** your money", but you made the women before me believe that they had no other choice than to take money from you, sign their experiences away, sign what they went through away,' she revealed.
'You get to go skip off and sing your little f***ing songs on stage like you're a good dude. I don't want in two years to buy a f***ing house and think, "oh this is the money from the dude that literally f***ing broke me and destroyed me for a year."
'F*** that, f*** you, I don't want your money.'
