Speaking about his experience shooting for the calendar, the actor told press at the event: 'This was the most air I've felt between my legs on a set.
'I've taken clothes off on screen before, but that feels more controlled and more about embodying somebody else.
'Doing this as myself, especially at a point where I was halfway through a workout regimen, was different. I was still a bit weighty, and I wanted to do a shoot that reflected where I was in that moment and marked that time.
'You know, I was training every day, eating bland food, and really focusing on fitness.
'To have an experience that embraces you where you are and shows you in that process - it's really important to me, and I relate to that deeply.'
