Molly-Mae Hague stuns fans as she totes 'ludicrously capacious' shopping bag from Bottega during retail therapy outing in London

Molly-Mae Hague left her fans baffled on Wednesday as she shared a snap of her visiting a designer store in London, with a ginormous shopping bag on her arm.

The Love Island star, 25, appeared to have splashed some serious cash in Bottega Veneta, an Italian luxury fashion brand.

She took to her Instagram to share a mirror selfie during her spree, with her petite frame almost dwarfed by a giant green bag from the store.

Her stunned fans took straight to the comments in to poke fun at the size and question what Molly-Mae could've bought, writing: 'that bag is outrageous; You need a bigger shopping bag Mol!'

'The size of that bag!!; Molly the bag I’m hollering; Ya just know that last photo is going to be a meme!!'

'I never knew a shopping bag could ever be that large; The bottega bag obsessed !; I love the big bag the end'.

'whats in the bag? A new car?; Ok I’ll say what we’re all thinking… What’s inside the Bottega bag to make it THAT big?'

While one person referenced an iconic line from hit show Succession, which saw Tom Wambsgans launch a scathing attack on a woman's 'monstrous' and 'gargantuan' handbag, as they commented: 'a ludicrously capacious bag indeed'.

Molly-Mae has shown her love for Bottega in the past, previously showing off one of the brand's £2,600 leather totes while on a private jet.

It marks the second big splurge for the influencer this month, after she was previously spotted with another giant bag of designer purchases, just two weeks ago.

The mother-of-one showed money is no object as she took to her Instagram Stories while at luxury department store Harrods, with a huge orange Hermes carrier bag over her shoulder.

The French designer, known for its handmade handbags and luggage has a hefty price tag attached to its products, but that didn't seem to faze the influencer, whose bag was double the size of her.

Molly-Mae is no stranger to the luxury brand and in some of her most recent posts, has been spotted with what appears to be a Birkin 35 in a Autumnal burgundy colour.

Her recent retail therapy comes during a turbulent time for the star, after she shared the shock news she had split from fiancé Tommy Fury in August.

The couple had fallen for each other on Love Island and went on to welcome daughter Bambi, one, in January 2023, before getting engaged six months later.

Molly-Mae has since been working on her clothing line, Maebe, while reports surfaced claiming Tommy 'cheated on her with a Danish woman he met' on a holiday in North Macedonia.

Speaking to The Mail in an interview, Tommy admitted: 'It is proper love. Do I still love Molly? 100 per cent. I will love her until my final breath.'

'I know what I have to do in order to resolve things. And that's down to me. Nobody else can do that other than me.'

Addressing the rumours he said: 'All the allegations that were made of me recently are completely false. The truth will come out in time and when it does I think a lot of people might regret their actions and unkind words.

'What the public thinks is going on isn't what is going on. It's not something I envisaged happening, but it didn't come out of nowhere.

'It's a thing that was there previously to all this happening, but the only people who know what is going on in our relationship is me and Molly.'

Meanwhile, Molly-Mae has been focusing on her clothing line, which launched last month, telling MailOnline she was looking forward to a 'new era' in her life after the split.

In an exclusive interview the influencer said she felt 'emotional' but was channeling all her energy into the couple's one-year-old daughter, Bambi, and her new clothing line Maebe.

She told of how the past six months have been a juggling act and she has found parenting as well as running her existing businesses 'tricky.'

But navigating the launch of her fashion label alongside the end of her five-year relationship has given Molly the chance to focus on the next chapter as she admitted: 'It was really good timing for this to happen for me. It has all just aligned perfectly.'

Molly told MailOnline: 'When I became a mum, I changed a lot as a person and different things became important to me in terms of fashion, it was the right time to launch Maebe. I was really ready to sink my teeth into something new.

'I have a really good feeling about this new era of my life and think it's going to be so special and a great thing for me to focus on and put my time into as well as being a mum to Bambi.

'It was really good timing for this to happen for me. It has all just aligned perfectly really. I am so excited about it... I really do have an amazing feeling about the brand. I see Maebe having a huge future.'

She added: 'I know if I make the right steps with it and I do this well, I do genuinely see it becoming really huge and being one of those brands that everybody knows and that's my dream and my goal.'
