Super Bowl 2025

I always thought it was more of a separate event that took place before an actual parade and went up the parade route 15-30 mins before the actual parade. Is that correct?

I wish it would just be published which parade they will be at. So silly.
Sorry but I honestly don't understand this comment. There is only one parade scheduled at WDW on Mon, Feb 10th and it is at 3:00.

Just silly for me because I'd like to plan ahead!
According to the website, I see two parades that day Monday Feb 10th. 12:00pm and 3:00 pm - Festival of Fantasy. I am just wishing I knew which one it was so I can plan my mid day break! :)

@Jsharp13 I do not know how it will be set up this year, however I can share some details of what happened at the other park the past two years. I have pictures of signage, crowds, etc. but I don't want to confuse people on this thread. I can share them via PM if you are interested.

At the west coast park, when we entered there were signs alerting guests that there was going to be filming that day. There were also signs notifying guests what time the Super Bowl cavalcade would be at.

On the west coast, the Super Bowl cavalcade was an hour or so before the regular parade. At the west coast park, there were very large crowds for the Super Bowl cavalcade. Super Bowl fans are a different demographic than the guests who want to watch the regular parade so there was ample time for Super Bowl fans to leave before the regularly scheduled parade. On the west coast, it was similar to Dance The Magic families who line up hours before their kids dance down Main Street. Fans of the team, started camping out on the parade route shortly after parking opening. It was very crowded.

The past two years, Patrick Mahomes was the player who was at the west coast park. Mahomes did an interview on the side of the castle where most media shots are filmed. The camera/filming crews were set up early and fans gathered around that area waiting for him to arrive. The fans seemed to know where and when he would be doing photo ops and interviews. I'm not sure if fan forums share those details.

This video will give you an idea of the what the Super Bowl cavalcade looked like at the other park last year. There was a section of the parade route that was roped off for media which is where this video was filmed. Media could see the cavalcade coming up Main Street then turn around and film it as it rounded Town Square and exited the park. I'm not sure how it will be set up at the east coast park.

For what it is worth, the teams did not go to the west coast park. The past two years, it was was just Patrick Mahomes.

ETA: two years ago the cavalcade was at 1:30 pm and last year it was at 2 pm. I don't know what time they will do it at WDW.

That's because he was the SuperBowl MVP.

THANK YOU!!! This is really helpful information! It sounds like we may not know full details until we walk into the park that day and then we'll have to weigh our options about how invested we are and what we want to see. Neither team is "our team" but being football fans it would be really cool to at least catch a glimpse of the parade. However, I am sure no one in my party is interested in losing many Disney hours staking out a parade spot. hmm, we'll see how it goes!

Thanks. The website doesn't show that for me:

This makes no sense to me! How can this be different? This is what I see!

Maybe... my original post is confusing... I am talking about Disney World, not Disney land. SB parade has been in Disney land for the past few years based on where the game was played. This year it should be in Disney World.

Wow! Okay, thank you for that tidbit. If the Eagles win, I won't miss the parade and will arrive early to wait. If it's KC again, I'm okay with going a little later to catch a glimpse.

I do remember there being word of a Swiftie invasion last year, as her fans were hoping Travis Kelce would come to the DL parade and she would join. Neither happened. My DD10 is a little Swiftie, and would be all giddy about that possibility.

Yes, mine is definitely WDW too but, I'm Canadian and occasionally there are differences between the Canadian and US website. Things just get missed.

Sure enough, when I switch to the US website, there are 2 parades shown. Guess us Canadians are only allowed to go to the 3:00 parade! ;)

WDW has a longer parade route. On the west coast, the parade route was full an hour before the cavalcade. If you weren't in a roped off viewing area, they had you keep walking. There was no place to "catch a glimpse." At the end of the video I posted above, you can see how thick the crowds were.

It usually isn't advertised. But it will be at WDW this year

wow that is so strange! Good to know!

It happens occasionally, not often. There is code that needs to be updated for every International site and occasionally things are missed.

The good thing is sometimes a particular offer is sold out for US guests but there is still availability to International guests as occasionally they pull from a different bucket. I remember planning a fairly last minute trip during a free dining offer where it was sold out on the US site but we were able to book as Canadians as our site still had very limited availability. It is very rare though.
