Through her research, Dr Lee is dedicated to creating sustainable workplaces by addressing biases in core HR processes and exploring the links between organizational structures, practices, and employees' psychological states. By integrating research insights from organizational behavior, organizational design, and social networks, Dr Lee strives to empower employees and managers to build sustainable and inclusive workplaces that balance efficiency with a human-centric approach.
Dr Lee’s education bridges negotiation and people analytics, both of which play a vital role in fostering sustainable workplaces. Negotiation equips employees with interpersonal tools to build collaborative relationships, ultimately creating a more harmonious work environment. People analytics, on the other hand, provides data-driven insights into workforce trends and organizational behavior, enabling leaders to optimize organizational strategies, structures, and processes.
Dr. Lee is also an intrapreneur, who strives to create value for the organizations and people she works with. During her decade-long career at University Collge London, she founded the MSc People Analytics & Human-Centric Management, established 30% Scholarship (the first scholarship for the school), and initiated UCL’s Diversity Research Day (the UK's first reserch conference on diversity). She values curiosity and learning, embraces life, and seeks to make a positive impact.
