By Air
Glasgow is served by three international airports with connections across the world, Glasgow International, Glasgow Prestwick and Edinburgh International.

Glasgow's International Airport is less than 15 minutes drive by direct motorway link from the city centre

From the airport, First Bus 757 service operates daily (every 20 minutes) to Glasgow City Centre via the SECC and return.

By Rail
Glasgow has the largest rail network in the UK outside London. Glasgow's Central Station is connected with every city in the UK, while Queen Street Station serves central and northern Scotland. Once you're in Glasgow, your journey right to our front door can be completed by train Trains run to the SECC from the city centre with a journey time of just three minutes.

By Bus
Coach operators run services to Glasgow’s Buchanan Bus Station from throughout the UK. Visit Traveline Scotland for details.

The 100 Riversider service operated by SPT runs between George Square (north) in Glasgow city centre and the Scottish Event Campus and Riverside Museum (south) and back every 30 minutes. View timetable for details.

Two other bus services operate to and from the Scottish Event Campus, stopping on Lancefield Street near the Clyde Arc bridge, only 2 minutes’ walk from the venues. Full details are available at X19 Stagecoach timetable and

Bike

Glasgow is a great cycling city. With a Nextbike station located outside the venue and multiple cycling paths, the campus is easily accessible for cyclists. The city is linked to the National Cycle Network and has designated cycle lanes on many roads. OVO Hydro is accessible via many cycle lanes and paths including one route that runs alongside the River Clyde.

Taxi

There is a Glasgow Taxis pick-up and drop-off point outside the SEC Armadillo. There are several taxi ranks throughout the city including at Buchanan Bus Station, Queen Street and Central stations, and most large hotels.

Walk

The Clyde Walkway runs right past the SEC, providing an invigorating start to daytime exhibitions and conferences, or a scenic stroll to evening events.

There are two footbridges, which cross the Clydeside Express Way (dual carriageway connecting the west end to Glasgow city centre) at both the front and rear of the campus.

Two pedestrian bridges traverse the River Clyde near the SEC. Bells Bridge connects the campus to the Science Centre and BBC while, a little further east, the Clyde Arc (affectionately known as the ‘Squinty Bridge’) carries both vehicles and pedestrians.
