Henry “Monty” Montague doesn’t care that his roguish passions are far from suitable for the gentleman he was born to be. But as Monty embarks on his grand tour of Europe, his quests for pleasure and vice are in danger of coming to an end. Not only does his father expect him to take over the family’s estate upon his return, but Monty is also nursing an impossible crush on his best friend and traveling companion, Percy.
So Monty vows to make this yearlong escapade one last hedonistic hurrah and flirt with Percy from Paris to Rome. But when one of Monty’s reckless decisions turns their trip abroad into a harrowing manhunt, it calls into question everything he knows, including his relationship with the boy he adores.
Witty, dazzling, and intriguing at every turn, The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue is an irresistible romp that explores the undeniably fine lines between friendship and love.
Don't miss Felicity's adventures in The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy, the highly anticipated sequel!

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was a fun book! I really enjoyed the characters, and ended up liking Monty. He definitely grew throughout the novel, and had realistic character development. I liked Felicity and her interest in medicine, and Percy was a great character as well. I enjoyed the plot, but felt it dragged at times. I listened to the audiobook, and I liked the narrator, but his voice was sometimes annoying as well.Overall, this was a fun romp, and I will definitely be reading the next book!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Such a great Bi frollicking adventure, and the voice actors perfect
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue is one of the most delightful books I’ve read in a long time. I adored every aspect of it and can’t wait to continue the series.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Laugh out loud funny, touching and an all round good insight into family and relationships.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was a really fantastic book. I cant wait to for the authors other books to be available here on audiobook!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5There were definitely some witty bits, funny lines and awkward but cute gay romance. All in all an ok listen, the narration was good. Mediocre storyline with just enough happening to not get bored but hardly. The protagonist is often an insufferable brat. Explained by daddy issues, which feels uninspired. Having set the story in the 18th century is cool and brought up the point of inequality that people of color and women had (well, and still have).
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was so damn c u t e. Monty was a real mess and I love him. Percy will forever be in my heart. Felicity is a proper badass and she deserved to be born in another time tbh.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A hilarious 18th century young adults adventure. The audiobook was good as something light to listen to in the background.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5to those who haven't read this book yet or seem to feel intimidated by it, PLEASE GET THE AUDIOBOOK. It's so good
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5So funny and sweet. Really good story. Has it all
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5So the book itself takes a turn I didn’t enjoy all that much (though it recaptures it’s charm towards the end) however the audiobook narration is so amazing that I didn’t care all that much. By far one of the best audiobooks I’ve had the pleasure of listening to!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Henry Montague is literally THE WORST!
And the best at the same time. But mostly the worst because although he is an adult at 18, he is still a teenaged boy who is ruled by his pride and little head. I still LOVED this and can't wait to start book 2.
4.5 stars - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was stunning. It was filled with unique and interesting characters, and I'm glad that Lee did a great job developing both the characters and the story. I enjoyed their interactions and their dialogues, and how exciting the story is. Most importantly, I got really emotional reading the parts about Monty and Percy, and you can really tell how much they loved and cared for each other. You should definitely read this book. You won't regret it!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Fell in love with the characters and got lost in the story
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It was absolutely magnificent! Full of romance, desire, joy, tragedy, and the inner works of the human mind. Kept me grinning, felt like I was right there with each of the spectacularly odd, intriguing, and utterly human characters.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Fantastic; while the subject matter is definitely YA in rating, the characters feelings and motivations read very adult like, aside from Mr. Montague's childishness.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A true adventure novel! Loved the characters, and how they react and unite as the story goes. It's got everything you want in an adventure novel it has pirates and a treasure and love all while they trapse accross the continent !!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The a fun, thrilling little love story! I loved it!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I did not expect to become so involved with this, but the absolutely perfect narration and fun adventure i has no choice in the matter. Few passages of prose are unexpected and left me stunned in my tracks. Giggled a lot, some serious chuckling too! Grounded in real history without being too jarring. NO REGRETS. =)
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was such a joy to listen to! I absolutely loved it
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really enjoyed this book! It was fun, fast paced and quite well written. I would definitely recommend it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved this book! Adventure, young love, finding oneself, danger, dysfunctional families, pirates that aren’t the average pirates, and more! Great story & writing, enjoyed the characters, & Christian Coulson’s narrating was so enjoyable. So looking forward to reading Felicity’s story next!
