Introduction
During my undergraduate studies in business as well as during my graduate work, I became fascinated with the aspects of leadership in business organizations. Also at this time I was presented with several career opportunities, on a departmental level and on a business group level, to lead organizations from poor performance and image levels to new heights of productivity and success.
Out of this experience, the question for me became How was this performance improvement achieved and can it be duplicated in other situations?
Furthermore, I asked, What are the underlying principles of leadership?
