Introduction
Many poems, and poets for that matter, earn fame because of their ability to inspire others. They had the keen ability to use the written word to reach hearts and souls, motivating people to action. Inspiration comes in many forms. However, the root of all inspiration is the idea that our lives are meaningful. Inspiration is knowing that what I do matters deeply to the universe. When you have the feeling that your actions are meaningful, you will become filled with strength and vigor to fulfill your life’s purpose.
Inspirational poems enable us to see the world in new ways, whether offering hope for a better future, speaking of faith in a loving god or depicting the beauty of nature and the innate goodness of mankind. The profound poems in this book will touch your heart and inspire you to open to your deeper potential in life.

The little chap who follows me.
I must remember as I go
Through summer’s sun and winter’s snow,
I’m building for the years to be;
The little chap who follows me.

Grabbed a cookie or two from the bag in between,
Which she tried to ignore to avoid a scene.
So she munched the
