The Bengal Tigress: A Treatise on Gender Equality: Humanism Series
()
About this ebook
“What a hundred caring, courageous and conscientious women can achieve in ten years, would take a thousand men a hundred years.”
One of twenty-first century’s most influential thinkers Abhijit Naskar makes an exuberant attempt with his sharp insight of the molecular realm of the mind, to unite all of humanity with the thread of humane oneness, beyond the primeval evil of gender discrimination. This is a treatise of humanism, in the line of his two other works “Principia Humanitas” and “We Are All Black”, that reinforces the vision of gender mutuality in the psyche of thinking humanity.
“The Bengal Tigress” is an empowering wake up call to all the women in the world and an eye-opener for all the men. Here Naskar enables us to delve deep into the neural realm of the female mind as well as the male, to recognize their distinct mental faculties. He reveals to us in his unique philosophical manner, how the women can take the human society forward towards a genuine harmonious future. The Bengal Tigress also warns us about the imminent harms of the term “Feminism” and makes “Humanism” triumph over all prejudices. We emerge from this spell-binding odyssey of science and philosophy with one sole conviction, that we are human first, then everything else.

CHAPTER 1 Introduction
What is an ideal woman
? What are the characteristics that this phrase reflects? What is the nature of the ideal feminine
? Are you thinking about the answers to these perplexing questions right this very moment! Are you! Okay, stop thinking right now. A rational mind of the thinking society should not even be considering such obsolete questions that depict women as some sort of alienated creatures, that require constant labeling. Instead, you should be thinking, who the heck is greater than the women to define them as ideal
!
As it happens, the image of an ideal woman
is constructed by the male psyche, out of an evolutionary urge for undisputed authority over the society, and thereafter nourished by the entire human society, male and female alike. I am pain-stricken to say that, today all that remains, is a fabricated image of an ideal woman
, which, every woman fights till death to attain, and every man perceives as a measure of femininity. When such fabrication replaces the real thing with its unrealistic shine, humanity inadvertently loses its right to the title Sapiens
or Wise
. Any woman who is brave enough to defy that delusional image and build her own identity, however she deems best, is the tigress that I revere. That tigress lies deep within the subconscious of every woman. All you have to do is bring it up to the surface and manifest it through your actions. Become endowed with such bravery that even if the whole world deems you worthless, it does not diminish the slightest bit of your respect for the self.
You my Sister, are the woman, who has the power within you to mend the society's perception of what a woman really is. O my Courageous Sister! You have to become the beacon of hope for all women around you and then for the whole society. You are your own measure. And that measure shall become the measure of femininity in the whole world. Remember though, feminism is not the quality I am talking about, for the term itself has become too congested with political ideologies, hence, the quality I am talking about is plain everyday humanism, with a special tinge of femininity.
The feminine power can add special characteristic aspects to Humanism, more than any masculinity in the world. The female brain itself is a highly intuitive emotion-processing machine, which when put to practice in the progress of the society, would do much more than any man can with all his analytical perspectives. What a hundred caring, courageous and conscientious women can achieve in ten years, would take a thousand men a hundred years. A handful of brave tigresses, fortified with the power of will, can take the society to such heights of advancement, that it will become a standard of progress for thousands of generations yet to come.
For thousands of years, the dumb, uncivilized, stone-age society has reduced women to mere prizes to be won, objects to be shown off, and playthings to be abused and toyed with. Now is the time to stop this primitive madness. And I am afraid, the initiation for the elimination of the society's patriarchal biases shall not come from the male masses, it can only rise from the heart of the woman - from the deepest fathoms of the individual feminine self. It all begins with you, O Bold One!
And if attempting to make the world a civilized one, makes you a bad woman in the eyes of the dumb patriarchal society, then, by all means, be it. The world doesn't need a good woman who is meekly obedient to the uncivilized social norms that advocate female inferiority. The world needs those bad women who can think for themselves, to break the primeval norms of the society that consistently drag the human civilization back to the stone-age. You are not born to follow the society, you are born to inspire it - you are born to teach it - you are born to build it.
Humanity has had so many teachers in the form of thinkers, yet it has not stopped fighting within itself. Most of these teachers have been men. It's time, that teachers have to rise from the feminine part of the society - it's time that thinkers have to rise from the depths of the female psyche. I am a scientist who studies the human mind, including the sexual differences in mental faculties, and I am telling you, ten female thinkers can teach humanity
