Dedication
This book is dedicated to the many thousands of people worldwide who have been murdered by Muslim jihadis in the recent past. As I write this, more are being killed and maimed for their faith, be it Christians in Iraq and Syria, Shia Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan, Coptic Christians in Egypt, and others in more than 30 countries worldwide, including the United States. I thank my God that those Christian martyrs who have been brutally tortured and murdered are now safely in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Acknowledgments
This book would not be possible without the encouragement of my wife, Astrid. Her steady support allowed me the freedom to research for endless hours searching for material to include and keeping me focused on the book’s purpose. Others who have provided encouragement include Dr. Sammy Kang, Dr. Patrick Canan, and several U.S. Army chaplains, all of whom are my brothers in Christ.
This has been a serious project requiring a great deal of prayer, perseverance, and yes, putting on the full armor of God. I am thankful for these brothers in Christ and others who have provided prayer support throughout the publishing of this book’s much-needed message.

First, A Few Scripture Passages and A Prayer
For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (Revelation 22:18-19)
You are of your father the devil … he is a liar and the father of it. (John 8:44)
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. (2 Corinthians 11:13-14)
Prayer
Father, creator of the heavens and the earth and all things we can see, hear, feel, taste, and touch, I thank You for ordering our lives and our destiny. I pray for Your people, Israel, that they may be kept safe and secure in the knowledge that You promised them a coming peace in their own homeland. I pray for the people of the United States of America, that it shines increasingly bright and is a beacon of light and hope for a world that is hurting in so many ways. Now, I come to You in thanksgiving for loving us so much that You sacrificed Your only begotten Son for our salvation. I especially pray for all Muslims throughout the world. May they come out of darkness and into light. May they seek answers to the questions that their faith raises as its religious and political leaders seek to subjugate all those who they consider to be infidels. Give them ears to hear and eyes to see that they may repent and come to know that there is only one true God and one Lord and Savior—Jesus Christ—who is the Truth, the Light, and the Life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Preface
When I first began thinking about writing this book, I had several other ideas, two of which I had begun outlining and researching. Somehow, I was not able to work on those ideas. I simply could not remove from my mind the need for this book. I believe God compelled me to work on this project and I’ve been doing that for more than three years.
In my previous book, The End Times, I pointed out that Jesus told us that we will know that the end times are present when certain signs are present. Many of those signs are realities today.
Christ delivered His Olivet discourse to four of the disciples: Peter, James, John, and Andrew (Mark 13:3). This discourse was in response to the disciples’ questions, Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?
(Mark 13:4). in the predictions made by Christ some 2,000 years ago, He accurately portrayed the progress in the present age. in fact, He predicted at least nine distinctive features of the present period as recorded in Matthew 24:
1.False christs (vv. 4–5)
2.Wars and rumors of wars (vv. 6–7)
3.Famines (v. 7)
4.Pestilence (v. 7)
5.Earthquakes (v. 7)
6.Many martyrs (vv. 8–10)
7.False prophets (v. 11)
8.Increase in wickedness with love growing cold (v. 12)
9.Worldwide preaching of the Gospel of the kingdom (vv. 13–14)
Number Seven in this list is germane here. In the Olivet Discourse, given on the night of His betrayal, Jesus said this:
Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. (Matthew 24:11)
For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. "Therefore, if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. (Matthew 24:24-26)
I believe these false prophets have appeared ever since Jesus made that statement. And while we are seeing folks who say they are Christ Himself or at least a person who speaks for Christ, the one false prophet who has deceived the most people worldwide is Muhammad, the founder of Islam. And upon close examination of Muhammad and the false religion he started, we can better understand Christ’s warning about false prophets. He said that we are not to believe it.
I have taught several courses on Islam for graduate students in theology. Since teaching those courses the world has seen what Christians and most civilized peoples consider to be evil atrocities committed by Islamic jihadis who believe they are carrying out the will of their god, Allah. The atrocities include mass murder by suicide bombings, mass murder by vehicular attacks, knife attacks, beheadings, crucifixions, emulations, and senseless attacks on civilians whose only crime
was not to believe in the jihadis’ ideology. Ordinary citizens in many countries cannot shop in marketplaces for their daily necessities for fear of becoming victims of these Islamic jihadis who go about bombing and maiming with impunity.
A leading question kept returning to me: How can a religion compel its adherents to be so violent, so evil? I believe that the answer can be found in Islam’s founding. I further believe that Islam was born of the devil, certainly not of Jehovah God. I wrote a book¹ that listed Elohim God’s attributes and His commandments. Murder in God’s name is not found on any of those lists. God is love. In fact, God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son as a sacrifice to pay the sin penalty for everyone throughout history. My Lord and God, Jehovah God, does not require His people to kill and murder to obtain their allegiance. Jehovah God asks us to love one another and to do unto others as we would have them do unto us. But somehow, my God’s message became distorted by a self-proclaimed prophet
of God (Allah) who, through the help of Satan, disguised as the angel Gabriel, laid aside the true word of God and substituted a false religion, Islam, complete with its own "holy book—the Holy Qur’an—that has grown exponentially by the dual methods of the sword and the lie.
Make no doubt; a fierce war is being raged between the forces of evil (Satan and his demons) and good (God and His hosts). I am fortunate to not be on the front lines of this spiritual warfare, at least not that which is visible to the world. Dear reader, I can assure you that Satan and his demons are real. I know it because they attack me continually as I do God’s work. They use tactics that cause me mental anguish and physical weariness. Moreover, on a broader front, the war is being manifested in human activity, fostered by indwelling demons. Ask any Christian pastor or priest and they will tell you that they know and feel the continual threat to their wellbeing from the forces of evil.
To set the stage for this book, I want to cite some relevant statistics. From 1972 through April 2017, there have been 74 Islamist terrorist attacks in the United States. These attacks killed 3,160 and injured 1, 751 people.² Note that these attacks are attributable to Muslims. We are told that most Muslims living in America—both American-born and immigrants—condemn such terror. However, alarmingly, some 25 percent of American Muslims approve of terror as a means of serving their god, Allah.
The worldwide statistics are even more alarming. Since September 11, 2001 (9/11
), there have been more than 30,000 Islamist jihadi attacks in 28 countries killing nearly 20,000 and injuring more than 48,000 people.³ What is doubly sad is that most people being killed and/or wounded are other Muslims—i.e., Muslims are attacking, killing, and maiming Muslims. And the people being attacked are often innocent women and children. Boca Haram is an especially vicious Muslim organization with ties to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS
). All these atrocities may be categorized as pure evil; there can be no other description.
And there is no diminishing of the carnage. In just the first 25 days of 2017, there were 165 Islamic attacks in 28 countries, in which 1,146 people were killed and 1,572 injured. The attacks continue unabated throughout the world. Even as I was first drafting this preface, a January 25, 2017 news report told of another bombing by al-Shahab in Mogadishu, Somalia, killing 28 and injuring 43. The indiscriminate killing of government officials, clan elders, and infidels only demonstrates my contention that no god, Allah or some other Satan-invented god, is worthy of worship. ISIS called their scattered army of jihadis to commit more terror attacks during the holy
month of Ramadan (May 26-June 24, 2017). And those jihadis were obedient—they carried out bombings and violent attacks in Great Britain, Belgium, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan—all during Ramadan.
Atrocity after atrocity takes place killing and maiming innocent people, yet most of the world is complacent, even calling such acts the new norm.
People living in the Middle East continue to suffer—civil war, a self-appointed caliph, and dozens of splinter groups filled with jihadis committed to killing infidels wherever they exist. Most of the western world is simply disgusted and world leaders call for unity to confront the terrorists. Meanwhile, despite these meager attempts at unity, the mayhem continues, and innocent people continue to suffer and die violent deaths at an alarming rate.
The western world sends armed forces to fight the jihadis and thanks to the United States progress has been made. But while the western world sends fighting forces, one must ask, where is the voice of Islam? Why haven’t Islam’s leaders spoken out against the so-called soldiers of Allah
who are committing these acts of terror? The Muslim world needs to be heard from and needs to purge the plague of extremism from within its own midst.
