About this ebook
Wordfall is a set of poetry that came from a journey I never expected to find taking place in. The name came from the word "waterfall" because that's how I perceived the writing I was doing. I went through a lot of isolation and the life I had built around me was very short of the woman I expected to grow up to be. During these long stretches of solitude I began to find myself compressed with thoughts and with no more room for them they spilled out onto the notes of Iphone, which was all I had at the time. What you are about to read captures some of the radical healing I did. We start in darkness and by the end you'll find I'm not alone. My hopes are that by the end of this book you also may see how much I was still supported just because I had the will to keep going. In this life people, companies, and even your own families will run you into a pit, but this set of words was written so you can see that even with everyone against you there is still this massive power of love that sees you and wants you to live a fully fulfilled life. This started as brutally forcing my words and pain out and it turned into months of editing and becoming completely infatuated by the way they helped me to connect to myself. This is vulnerable. This is me.

Dedication & Gratitude
To my soulmateGary, your love is what folded itself around me every time I was truly scared. I prayed for a man just like you for all my life and you are the greatest answered prayer I've ever received.
To Lila, my daughter, you are just a complete miracle. The real warrior. I may have written this but you inspired every burst of strength I needed to continue to push forward. Your grace is beyond measure.
There are also some instructors who had a large influence on my entire life. Mrs. Oswella McGovern, she would be surprised because our conversations were few but somehow because of the way she taught about literature and how it can help shape our society. How it molds it when individuals are bold with their words. I learned how we are responsible for them and they are powerful. Mrs. McGovern explained that a lot of power is in journaling. She listed all the reasons why it would be the most beneficial thing any of us could ever do and not even for the world, for ourselves. So I started journaling right? No. I lived fast and made decisions the best I could…Well, I wish I would have been writing down what happened while I was living so fast becauseI fell into one of the deepest pits of depression and I was blind to any sort of light but this woman already did something huge for me. I remembered that I can take this sorrow and complete agony and write. Why write? Writing was all I had, and this darkness is a part of society and I am an individual that will be brave enough to help mold it for the better.
It was also Mrs. Mary Alice LaBar who taught me how to be a woman in the workplace and the reason I survived the salon for as long as I did. She is a woman of extreme poise and work ethic worth very much worth learning from. She taught me that getting a coffee before work was okay because if it’s what’s getting you through the day, do it. Also if you hate your job pack a good lunch so you'll have something to look forward to that day. I had no clue that I would hate the salon that much and every single day it was something I packed, it was coffee or those words she said. The ones where she didn’t lie and said the salon is rough and competitive in nature, you will get cut on your hands and also your
