      INTRODUCTION

      A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

      Eph. 6:10-12, NLT

      We live in two worlds – the physical and the spiritual. We must not live as if life is all about what we see. There is an unseen realm of life which is as real as the physical realm. The unseen realm consists of spirit beings which include angels and demons.

      The spirit realm rules the physical world. Many of the things that happen in the physical world first take place in the spiritual world before they manifest in the physical world. Therefore, a better understanding of the reality of the spirit world will help us to be on guard so that we will not be taken unaware by events.

      In my previous book on demons, Demons and their Operations, I explained that demons are the reason behind most of the atrocities in the world: wars, bloodshed, accidents, storms, diseases, divisions, etc. In that book, we looked at the origin of demons. I explained that demons are fallen angels who work with Satan to carry out his evil agenda to fight against humanity and the plan of God. Demons are evil spirits who come to steal, kill, and destroy.

      Again, in that book, we looked at the names of some demons and their activities. With biblical proofs interspersed with real life examples, I shed light on the manifestations of demons. This book is a continuation of that one.

      In this second book on demons, I want us to look at some critical issues with regard to demons. Firstly, we will consider the dwelling place of demons. This will help us to be cognisance of where these evil spirits love to inhabit. Secondly, the book answers a very important question: Can a Christian be indwelled by a demon?

      This book also explains the fact that demons are limited in many ways. These limitations are dealt with one after the other.

      Satan is a strategist and so are his demons. They have their military tactics and schemes. These strategies are clearly stipulated in the pages of the Bible. Through the help of the Holy Spirit, this book brings to bare most of the demonic strategies. Finally, the book places in our hands the keys to defeating these demonic strategies.

      It is my fervent prayer that the Lord will use the revelation in this book to empower you and cause you to triumph over demonic attacks. In Christ, we reign. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 15:57, NKJV). Amen.
