Missing Pieces of Heart - Muhammad Nasrullah Khan

    My Lost Poems

My Missing poems went to hide in the jungle.

The swift wind sighs through the leaves and asks me:

"Tell me, dear poet, what do you see?

    What are you looking for?"

I hug the wind and plead,

"Can you find my lost words to write love?

    To draw dreams?"

The wind dances in the bushes and comes back:

"Here, in the rustling whispers of leaves, I’ve found them,

My dear poet, your misplaced verses of love and grace.

If anyone could summon them from the depths of the wild,

It would be you, the conjurer of dreams and emotions."

I hold tight to my poem and run back to my home,

As if a mother finds her lost child.

When I Saw You last Time

When I saw you last time,

    The world held its breath,

As if time itself had paused,

    And all existence narrowed down,

Into the depths of your soul.

    Your smile, a sunbeam’s embrace,

    Illuminated the darkest corners,

    Chasing away shadows of doubt,

And in that fragile, luminous instant,

    We were infinite,

    Bound by a connection,

    Unbreakable and timeless.

When I saw you last time,

    The world around us blurred,

    And all that remained clear,

    Was the image of you,

Etched in my heart and mind,

    A memory to treasure,

    An echo of a love

    That transcended mere moments,

And found its home in eternity.

    ...

    That Eternal Moment

If I could choose a moment,

    To be my eternity,

    It would be that one,

    Sitting above the Bow River,

    On that high Banff perch,

    Above the Rocky Mountains.

    And your head on my
